Gir E-Permit Information:

Customers are advised to book your E Permit before 3 months of your Gir Jungle Safari as slots are not easily available and gets booked fast.

Gir Permit charges

Indian

If the customer is booking his/her safari for weekdays i.e. Monday to Friday, then the fare would be 800 for 6 people and if you include children, the price would be 100 extra.

OR

If the customer is booking his/her safari for Saturday, Sunday or festival days then the fare would be 1000 and if you include children, the price would be 125 extra.

Foreigner

If the customer is booking his/her safari for weekdays i.e. Monday to Friday, then the fare would be 6400 for 6 people and if you include children, the price would be 1600 extra.

OR

If the customer is booking his/her safari for Saturday, Sunday or festival days then the fare would be 8000 and if you include children, the price would be 2000 extra.

NOTE

IN ONE SINGLE PERMIT ONLY A MAXIMUM OF 6 PEOPLE ARE ALLOWED WITH ONE CHILD (3-12 YRS)

Additional Information

Popular Times & Holidays: Safari entries during holidays and festivals are very busy and need to be booked very far in advance.

Weather Related Issues: Safari timings and availability can be changed by the authorities due to weather conditions and/or unforeseen situations.

ID's Required: Original ID Proofs for entry only include Voter ID, Passport, Aadhaar Card or a Driver's License.

Invalid Reservations: Permits booked with incorrect ID info or without ID info are invalid and are not eligible for refunds.

Rights of the Department: The Forest Department has the right to change or cancel any safaris, due to any unforeseen circumstance, outside and/or without notice. The decision of the Department is final.
